According to specs PRODUCT DEFINITION TEMPLATE 4.44
has 2 bytes for "Forecast time in units defined by octet XX"

which is evident bug in specs (all other 4.XX templates have four).
However, since the specs are officially published they are better to obey.
Thus in the file template.4.44.def the line

include "template.4.parameter_aerosol.def";
